Rohullah Zarif is a Legal Assistant for the Afghan Team at the HMA Law Firm.

Education:

 

He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in law from the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics and has interest and research experience in international relations.

Experience:

Prior to joining the HMA Law Firm, he worked at the US Embassy in Kabul, where he supported the US Ambassador and other mission principals with protocol-related matters.

Prior to that, he held various positions within the Afghan government, including Office Manager/Senior Political Assistant to the Ambassador of Afghanistan in Tajikistan, Administrative Officer, and Assistant to the Cultural Attaché of the Afghan Embassy in Dushanbe.

He has also worked as a reporter for Ariana TV of Afghanistan, where he reported on the issues of the Afghan refugee community in Tajikistan and bilateral Afghan-Tajik relations. Rohullah simultaneously works with a nonprofit organization in the US that delivers cash to the poorest people in the world.
